Recording King Banjos
In the 1930s, Recording King instruments were developed during the "Golden Age" of musical craftsmanship, resulting in some of the most respected and sought-after acoustic instruments.

Recording King originated as a house brand for the Chicago-based mail-order company Montgomery Ward from 1929 to 1943. During this period, Montgomery Ward contracted various manufacturers, including Gibson, Regal, Kay, and Gretsch, to produce instruments under the Recording King label. Notably, Gibson crafted many of the higher-end Recording King banjos, such as the Recording King No.1124 Model M-5, available from 1938 to 1940. Banjo Hangout+4(no title)+4Wikipedia+4
After a hiatus, the Recording King brand was revived in 2007 by The Music Link Corporation. Based in Hayward, California, this company produces a range of musical instruments, including acoustic and resonator guitars, and banjos, under the Recording King name. These modern instruments are designed in America and manufactured overseas, combining vintage designs with contemporary enhancements to appeal to today's musicians. Wikipedia
