Returns
We offer a 14-day full satisfaction return policy on all our instruments and accessories because we believe in the importance of connecting musicians with their dream instruments and gear. We understand that it can be difficult to determine if an instrument or accessory is the perfect fit without playing it for a few days. (See our Dread-Not Return Policy for qualifying Dread-Not Guarantee purchases.)
If you decide to return an item, please contact us first via email or by calling (417) 720-1223 before shipping your item. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
Return Conditions:
- All returns must be in resalable condition, meaning the item must be in the exact same condition as when it was received.
- Returns must be shipped within five (5) days of receiving your return shipping label.
- Items must be packed securely in their original packaging to prevent damage.
Non-Returnable Items Include (but are not limited to):
- Picks, strings, harmonicas, batteries
- Previously installed pickups (and associated installation fees)
- Any product that is not in resalable condition
Refunds & Deductions:
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, a refund will be issued minus shipping costs both ways (including the original shipment cost and return shipping cost).
- All shipping costs, including insurance, are the responsibility of the customer.
- If you receive a defective product, you have the option to:
- Request a replacement with an identical item.
- Exchange it for a different product.
- Receive store credit or a refund.
- If you choose a replacement, we will cover all shipping costs for both the return and the shipment of the new item.
- If you decline a replacement or exchange and opt for a refund instead, the original shipping cost and return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. This applies even if your original purchase qualified for free shipping.
- For returns made for any reason other than defect or damage, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs, including insurance.
- If the item was purchased using an outside financing method (Affirm, Synchrony, etc.), we will request payment for our shipping costs via credit card before processing the refund through the financing provider.
- If you purchased through a third-party seller (e.g., Reverb), please initiate your return request from your account on that platform. Our customer service team will process the refund once we receive the item.
Restocking Fees & Limitations:
- We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee if the item is not returned in its original condition or packaging.
- Items that are discounted more than 10% off MAP are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
- Customers are limited to five (5) returns within a six-month period. Any additional returns beyond this limit will incur a 10% restocking fee.
- All deposits are non-refundable.
Other Return & Cancellation Policies:
- Gift cards or rewards received from promotions will be voided if the original purchase is returned within 30 days. If the gift card or reward has been used, its value will be deducted from the refund.
- Canceled orders are subject to non-refundable credit card/PayPal fees.
- If your order was received incorrectly, damaged, or defective, please contact us as soon as possible so we can make it right.

We Keep You In The Loop
As soon as your purchase is complete, our shipping department will start working on inspecting, confirming the correct setup, and safely packing your product. As soon as your order is shipped, an email with a UPS tracking number or USPS delivery confirmation number will be sent to you to track the status of your shipment.
We Make sure It's Secure
We use the highest quality packing materials, techniques, and experience shipping thousands of instruments to ensure that your order will arrive safely and intact. Sometimes there are forces out of our control like mishandling, theft, or loss, but in all those cases we've got you covered by fully insuring your purchase

All Shipped orders are fully insured and require a signature upon delivery (unless otherwise agreed upon)
Deposits
Reservation deposit:
25% of the final price. This applies to regularly stocked standard models that are being reserved. The customer is committing to receiving delivery of the reserved instrument, after which our standard return policy applies.
The 25% is a non-refundable store credit if canceled before delivery as this reservation prevents us from selling the item to other customers before delivery.
Special Order:
25% of final price deposit. Applies to non-regularly stocked items ordered on behalf of the customer. The customer is committing to receiving delivery of the reserved instrument, after which our standard return policy applies minus a 15% restocking fee as this is not a standard model we would carry.
The full 25% is a non-refundable store credit if canceled before delivery as this special order prevents us from selling or ordering other items to customers before delivery.
Custom Order:
50% of final price non-refundable. This applies to customized accessories, or instruments (non-standard models) where the customer is selecting the wood and build specs and standard inlay options.
The customer is committing to receiving delivery of the custom order, after which our standard return policy applies minus the 50% deposit as a store credit.
Personalized Custom Order:
100% of final price non-refundable. This applies to customized accessories, or instruments (non-standard models) where the customer is selecting the wood and build specs along with customized inlay and or personal names or signatures.
The customer is committing to receiving delivery of the custom order, and this item can not be returned as it is specific to a single customer.
