Sideline Bluegrass Band to perform November 4 as part of Ozark Acoustic Roots Concert Series
Springfield, MO – The Chapmans Acoustic Shoppe in Springfield, MO, is proud to announce that bluegrass powerhouse band, Sideline, will perform at 7:30 p.m. on November 4, at the Sac River Cowboy Church. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The Sac River Cowboy Church is located at 2328 N Farm Rd 101, Springfield, MO.
The event is part of the Ozark Acoustic Roots Concert Series and is co-sponsored by The Acoustic Shoppe, The Ozark Music Shoppe, Greater Ozarks Bluegrass Society and Noteworthy Music.
The OARCS is co-produced by The Acoustic Shoppe and NoteWorthy Music, both of Springfield, MO.
Sideline was formed in 2012 as a “jam band” for a group of friends that played professionally in other bands. They started playing together as a fun alternative when their bands were not performing. They quickly discovered their own identity and style. The musicians decided to take a leap of faith and commit to the group full time.
The band was named “Sideline” by founding member Darrell Webb, due to its origin as a “side band.” Sideline has had different configurations over the years, but the three founding members Steve Dilling, Skip Cherryholmes, and Jason Moore led the band through it all until Jason’s untimely passing in November of 2021. Dilling and Cherryholmes decided to continue in honor of Jason’s commitment to the band and love for the music.
The Acoustic Shoppe is offering a $15 ticket special ticket price for Acoustic Shoppe Academy students and members of the Greater Ozarks Bluegrass Society. The special ticket price is available through The Acoustic Shoppe website and at The Acoustic Shoppe store located at 1913 E Seminole St. - Springfield, MO 65804.
General admission tickets are available for $18 in advance at The Acoustic Shoppe, or at the door the day of the event.
