ROMP Music Festival 2024
We are thrilled to announce that The Acoustic Shoppe has been invited to participate in the ROMP Music Festival 2024! This exciting event, produced by the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum, will take place from June 26-29 at the picturesque Yellow Creek Park in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Celebrating its 21st year, the ROMP Festival is renowned for its stunning 150-acre venue, complete with nature trails, a winding creek, a fishing lake, and sweeping tree-lines. The festival offers a rich array of activities, including artist-led instrument workshops, songwriting sessions, clogging and flat-foot dancing, yoga, and bluegrass jamming 101. With organic and farm-to-table food vendors, craft stalls, art installations, and professionally-led children's activities, there's something for everyone.
At our Mini-Acoustic Shoppe booth, you'll find a curated selection of instruments and accessories perfect for any acoustic music enthusiast. We are also excited to film backstage performances and interviews with the talented artists gracing the ROMP stages.
As Jeremy Chapman shared, "The team with the ROMP Music Festival reached out to us after seeing some of the content that we had been creating at the IBMA World of Bluegrass, Merle Fest, and Walnut Valley Festival, and asked if we could be a part of this year’s event. With a line-up like they have, how could we say no?"
ROMP Festival not only promises top-notch musical performances but also encourages attendees to bring their instruments and join in the jam sessions, dancing the night away in the rustic Pioneer Village. Though the majority of the content will be filmed and edited to be shared at a later date, we are sure to “go live” throughout the weekend as the event unfolds.
