Sullivan Banjos

Established in 1970 by Bill Sullivan, the company began as First Quality Banjo, operating from the Sullivan family's home in Louisville, Kentucky. The mission was to supply high-quality banjo parts and accessories to builders and players. Over the years, the business expanded, relocating to a larger facility and evolving into First Quality Music, offering a wide range of musical instruments and accessories.

In 2019, marking its 50th anniversary, the company rebranded as Sullivan Banjo Co. and relocated to Silverhill, Alabama.
