Santa Cruz D Dreadnought
The D was the first guitar Santa Cruz built, a dreadnought Richard Hoover designed in 1976 with tapered bracing for a more balanced voice than a traditional dreadnought. Ours is the Founder Collection D, with a Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, a round mahogany neck and a 1-11/16 inch nut, strung with Santa Cruz mid-tension strings for flatpicking and strumming.
- Sitka spruce over Indian rosewood
- Tapered Sitka bracing
- 1-11/16 in. nut, round neck
- Santa Cruz case included
