Description
The Alvarez Laureate LF70e pairs a AAA solid Sitka spruce top with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides on an Orchestra Model body, built for players who want dreadnought-adjacent depth in a smaller, more comfortable frame. Herringbone purfling and ivoroid binding dress it in the vintage style the Laureate Series is known for.
FS6 bracing keeps the rosewood's overtone-rich low end from turning boomy, so fingerstyle passages stay clear and articulate while full strums still carry real weight. The African mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard add snap and definition on top, and the OM body's tighter waist makes it an easy guitar to play seated for long stretches. It's built for the fingerstyle player and dynamic strummer who wants a smaller-bodied guitar that doesn't give up low-end authority.
Premium abalone inlays, an ebony bridge and headstock facia, and open-gear tuners carry the vintage look through the details, and an LR Baggs HiFi pickup handles amplification for stage or studio. It ships strung with D'Addario XS phosphor bronze strings and comes with an Alvarez AFC30 hardshell case. For a player who wants Alvarez's high-end Laureate build quality in an Orchestra Model size, the LF70e delivers it.
