The Bourgeois TAS LSH Professional Series Dreadnought is an Acoustic Shoppe limited edition built around an Aged Tone Adirondack spruce top over Madagascar rosewood back and sides, with Aged Tone torrefied bracing underneath. The torrefied Adirondack top gives it the dry, played-in response and big headroom of a vintage dreadnought, while the Madagascar rosewood adds deep, complex bass and shimmering overtones.

The large soundhole changes how this dreadnought speaks. It opens up the midrange and throws more sound back toward the player, so bluegrass rhythm has punch and single-note runs ring with clarity and sustain. The 25.5" scale, 1.72" nut and 2.2" string spacing at the bridge give it a traditional flatpicking feel, and the thin satin finish keeps the top light and responsive.

Vintage herringbone purfling, ivoroid binding, a zipper backstrip and a large ivoroid soundhole ring give it a classic prewar look, and the clean square headstock with a Madagascar rosewood veneer carries no peghead logo, just a decal on the back. An ivoroid-bound ebony fingerboard without inlays, a cut-through-saddle ebony bridge, ebony pins with pearl dots, Schaller Vintage Bean tuners and a celluloid tortoise pickguard complete it, with the Dana Bourgeois signature label inside and a hardshell case included.
