That combination makes it comfortable for strumming singer-songwriter material or for flatpicking where you want note separation without a harsh, glassy edge. Hand-scalloped X-bracing keeps the spruce top responsive at lower volumes, so it doesn't take a heavy hand to get the guitar moving.
