The Eastman E2D-DLX-SB pairs a solid cedar top with solid sapele back and sides — cedar's softer attack and quicker response make this dreadnought feel immediately responsive under a light touch.
That's a different voice than the typical spruce dreadnought: warmer, quicker to open up, and forgiving for fingerstyle players who don't dig in hard. The Fishman Presys VT keeps that character intact when amplified.
Finished in a classic sunburst with tortoise binding and pearl dot inlays, it's built for the player who wants dreadnought volume with a softer, more immediate voice.
