Description
The Eastman PCH1-GACE-CLA is a cutaway grand auditorium with an Eastman pickup by Fishman, a solid Sitka spruce top and laminated sapele back and sides, in Eastman's Classic color. The cutaway cuts away part of the lower bout so the fretting hand can reach the upper frets of the 22-fret neck.
The body is 16 inches across and the scale length is 25.4 inches. The okoume neck has a Traditional Even C profile, a 12 inch radius rosewood fingerboard and a 1 3/4 inch bone nut. The finish is Truetone satin on the top and on the back and sides. It comes with D'Addario XS coated strings and a padded Eastman gig bag.
It suits a player who wants a pickup and a cutaway in the same guitar for stage or church use. Players who want a gloss finish or rosewood back and sides will find them in the PCH2 line, which has no pickup.
