The Martin OM-35 Inception rethinks the classic 000-14 fret orchestra model with sustainable tonewoods. An FSC-certified European spruce top sits over solid black walnut sides and a three-piece back of black walnut with a flamed American white oak center wedge, giving it the clarity of a spruce top with the warm, woody midrange walnut is known for.

Martin pairs those woods with skeletonized Golden Era scalloped X-bracing, which removes mass from the European spruce braces so the top moves freely. The result is a fast, punchy midrange, sweet trebles and a focused low end with plenty of sustain. It responds right away to a light fingerpicking touch and still holds together when you dig in with a flatpick for bluegrass leads or strummed rhythm.

The Dark Toasted Burst gloss top, flamed white oak binding, heelcap and endpiece, and 28-style hex inlays on an FSC-certified ebony fingerboard give the OM-35 Inception a look all its own. The black walnut neck has a satin finish and a Golden Era Modified Low Oval carve with High-Performance Taper, and RATIO open-gear tuners match the gear ratio to each string for precise tuning. It ships in a molded hardshell case.
