The Eastman E1SS-DLX-SB brings that classic slope shoulder vibe into a really approachable, player-focused package. With a solid Sitka spruce top and solid sapele back and sides, it leans into a warm, rootsy character that fits right at home in folk, country, and singer-songwriter settings. The sunburst finish, tortoise binding, and pickguard give it that vintage-inspired look without feeling overdone.

There is a certain ease to the way this guitar responds. The shorter 24.75 inch scale softens the feel under your fingers, making it comfortable for long sessions, while the hand-carved scalloped bracing helps the top stay lively and responsive. Sitka keeps the notes clear and defined, while sapele adds a focused low end and a dry, woody midrange that works great for rhythm playing and vocal accompaniment. It is the kind of sound that sits nicely in a mix without getting in the way.

The neck has a familiar, comfortable shape with a Traditional Even C profile and a 1.68 inch nut width that feels approachable for a wide range of players. Ebony on the fingerboard and bridge keeps things snappy and articulate, while open-gear tuners and bone nut and saddle round out a solid, reliable build.
