Featuring a torrefied AAAA Adirondack red spruce top paired with torrefied Brazilian mahogany back and sides, this dreadnought delivers the broken-in warmth and response of a well-aged instrument from the very first note. The Ambertone Burst finish, rosewood binding, and classic appointments give it a timeless visual presence that reflects Boucher’s commitment to both tradition and precision craftsmanship.

This BG-42T-BG is engineered for power, clarity, and dynamic control. Forward-shifted, hand-scalloped X-bracing carved from Adirondack spruce allows the top to move freely, producing exceptional headroom, quick attack, and strong projection. The torrefied mahogany body adds warmth, focus, and a rich midrange, while maintaining a tight, articulate low end that bluegrass and flatpicking players demand. The updated squared belly-style bridge and extended bone saddle improve string-to-top energy transfer, resulting in greater responsiveness, sustain, and tonal definition across the entire range.

Playability and refinement define the latest evolution of this model.
