Description
This Santa Cruz RS is a custom-order guitar with Macassar ebony back and sides and an Adirondack spruce top in a teardrop sunburst. The top is braced with Adirondack spruce under hot hide glue and voiced with a double taper, and the body is finished clear in a buff finish with a matte neck stained to match the back and sides.
The mahogany neck has a round profile, a 1-13/16 inch nut and a 24.75 inch scale. The ebony fingerboard has Doppler inlays and ivoroid binding, and an ivoroid Santa Cruz script logo sits on a J-style peghead.
An ebony bridge with mother-of-pearl dotted pins, an RS-shaped tortoise pickguard, ivoroid body binding with an S29 top border, and Waverly nickel tuners with ivoroid oval knobs complete it. It comes strung with Santa Cruz mid-tension strings in a Santa Cruz case. We are a Santa Cruz Guitar Company dealer, and every guitar goes through our 23-point professional inspection before it ships.
Serial #8060. This listing is for the exact instrument in the photos above.
