The Taylor GS Mini-e Koa Plus tops the GS Mini line with a solid Hawaiian koa top and layered koa back and sides carrying a shaded edgeburst finish, giving it the deepest color contrast in the series. It uses the same travel-scale body and X-Bracing as every other GS Mini — not the V-Class bracing on Taylor's full-size instruments — so it stays in the same tonal family as the rest of the line, just dressed up.

Koa's compressed, midrange-forward character comes through clearly here, with a touch more sparkle on top than the standard GS Mini-e Koa thanks to the same tonewood pairing — the difference between these two models comes down to looks and electronics, not tone.
