A custom Santa Cruz starts from one of the shop's standard models, then the woods, trim, neck and voicing are chosen for that one guitar. Two of ours show the range. The Santa Cruz OM has Macassar ebony back and sides under a redwood top, trimmed in abalone and walnut, while the Santa Cruz OO is all mahogany with Adirondack spruce bracing.

If you like the OMG body but want the standard spec, compare our custom Santa Cruz OMG, with an Adirondack spruce top over mahogany, against the Founder OMG in Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood. Both are on the same page.

Every custom Santa Cruz gets our 23-Point Professional Inspection before it ships. See the rest of our Santa Cruz guitars.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a custom Santa Cruz different from a standard model?
