Description
The Atkin 00037 DLX delivers everything players love about the classic pre-war triple-0 design — balance, responsiveness, and tonal richness — elevated through Atkin’s meticulous craftsmanship and aged nitrocellulose finish. Its baked Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides create a lush, articulate voice that’s both clear and complex, making it equally suited for fingerstyle and light flatpicking. Built with a short 24.9" scale and a 45mm nut width, this 000 feels effortlessly playable while offering remarkable string-to-string clarity. The scalloped X-bracing adds resonance and projection, while the mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard provide smooth playability and long-term stability. Visually, the 00037 DLX is stunning — abalone and ivoroid binding highlight the body’s graceful curves, and the aged nitro finish gives it a warm, vintage patina that feels alive in the hands. This is an heirloom-level guitar for players who appreciate Atkin’s dedication to authenticity and tone.
