There is something immediately familiar about this Bourgeois DSIG-SB/TS. It leans into that classic slope-shoulder-inspired dreadnought feel, but with Bourgeois’ refined touch throughout. The Alaskan spruce top paired with Madagascar Rosewood back and sides gives it a look and character that feels broken-in right out of the gate, especially with the sunburst top and vintage herringbone purfling tying everything together.

It has a really usable, no-nonsense voice. Alaskan Spruce keeps the response smooth and balanced, while the Madagascar Rosewood body brings a warm, focused midrange and deep low end that works especially well for strumming. It does not get overly boomy, which makes it a great option for singers or players who want their chords to stay clear and supportive. When you lean into it with a pick, it holds together nicely and gives you that punch without losing definition.
