Dr. Herringbone Kingpin Vulcanite Triangle Pick - Medium

The Kingpin Pick is made from a custom vulcanite blend—a sulfur-cured rubber known for its warm, organic tone and durability, long used in premium products like fountain pens and woodwind mouthpieces. Traditional vulcanite wasn’t suited for picks, so we engineered a version specifically for plectrums: strong enough for daily use, yet responsive enough to capture fine tonal detail.

At its core is a patented epoxy polymer inlay that reinforces structure and controls flex without sacrificing tone. This design delivers a balanced feel with the right mix of stiffness and snap, while allowing the vulcanite to produce a rich, lively sound.
