Description
The Atkin Essential D 12s is a dreadnought built around a baked Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, giving it a dry, woody punch that flatpickers and fingerpickers alike will recognize from a great vintage guitar. Scalloped X-bracing lets the top breathe, projecting with natural warmth and dynamic clarity.
The mahogany neck has an easy, comfortable shape paired with a smooth, fast ebony fingerboard. A shaded top, tortoise binding, and aged nitrocellulose finish give it the look and feel of a well-aged classic, and a 45mm nut with a 25.9" scale delivers both traditional power and modern playability.
