Description
The Eastman E1OM-CLA pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid sapele back and sides in a comfortable Orchestra Model body, giving newer players an all-solid-wood guitar without stepping up to premium pricing. Sitka spruce brings headroom and clarity, while sapele — a close cousin to mahogany — adds warmth and a smooth midrange that keeps the tone balanced rather than boomy.
That balance makes the E1OM-CLA comfortable under a flatpick or a fingerstyle hand alike; light strumming stays articulate, and single-note runs come through clean rather than muddy. The mahogany neck's Traditional Even "C" profile and 24.9-inch scale length keep the reach relaxed, and hand-scalloped X bracing under the ebony fingerboard, along with a bone nut and saddle, lets the top respond evenly whether you're playing near the soundhole or up past the twelfth fret.
