Description

The Eastman E1OOSS-SB pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid sapele back and sides in a compact slope-shoulder OO body, built for players who want a smaller guitar that still sounds full. Sitka spruce keeps the top end defined and articulate, while the sapele back and sides bring in a woody, slightly darker midrange that makes the whole voice feel warm and familiar rather than thin.

The shorter 24.75-inch scale and Traditional Even "C" neck profile make the E1OOSS-SB easy on the hands through long practice sessions, and it rewards a light touch. Fingerstyle playing and relaxed, bluesy strumming both come through clearly. Hand-scalloped X bracing keeps the response quick, and the ebony fingerboard and bridge, paired with a bone nut and saddle, give every note a clean, focused attack.

Finished in a vintage-inspired sunburst with a satin Truetone feel, the E1OOSS-SB has the look of an old parlor guitar without the fragility, and it ships with D'Addario XT strings and a deluxe padded Eastman gig bag. It's a solid pick for a player who wants a smaller-bodied, all-solid-wood acoustic for the couch or the porch.
