Stage Ready Condition Note: There is a tiny chip on the headstock, on the upper right side of the instrument as viewed head-on (just beneath the lowest tuner on that side). The back of the guitar shows extensive buckle/case rash spread across the surface rather than concentrated in one area. There are also two slight buff marks on the side of the guitar on the bass side.
The Eastman E20D-TC is a workhorse dreadnought built around a torrefied solid Adirondack spruce top, paired with solid rosewood back and sides. The thermo-curing process bakes moisture out of the top before the guitar is ever built, mimicking the open, resonant cell structure of a decades-old instrument and giving it a mature, broken-in voice right out of the case.
Hand-carved scalloped X-bracing under that torrefied top adds touch-sensitive dynamics and extra headroom, while the rosewood back and sides bring depth and low-end richness without turning boomy. It's a dreadnought that rewards both hard flatpicking and lighter fingerstyle playing.
Appointments lean classic: herringbone binding, a pearl headstock logo, abalone snowflake inlays, and ebony bridge pins with abalone dots tie it to Eastman's vintage-inspired design language. A mahogany neck with a Traditional Even C profile, ebony fingerboard, and Gotoh tuners keep it comfortable and stable under the hands, and it ships in a hardshell case.
Serial #M2507316 — this listing is for the exact instrument shown in the photos above.
