The Eastman MD505CC brings Eastman's A-style, F-hole mandolin platform into a more ergonomic package. The "Contour Comfort" edge shapes the body where it meets your forearm and ribs, making it noticeably easier to hold through long sets without sacrificing any of the tone or projection of the standard MD505 body.

Under the hood it's the same proven recipe: a solid spruce top over solid maple back and sides for a bright, punchy voice with plenty of headroom for chop and tremolo, while staying controlled and articulate rather than boomy.

A vintage gloss finish gives it a broken-in look right out of the case, and an ebony fingerboard, adjustable compensated ebony bridge, Eastman cast aluminum tailpiece, and nickel-plated Pingwell tuners round out a build that's ready for stage or jam. It ships in a hardshell case.
