Description
The Martin 000-10E Retro brings the Road Series' stage-ready reliability to an all-sapele 000 body, built for players who want classic Martin feel and honest tone without a dreadnought's size or price tag. It's a compact, comfortable guitar that works as well on the couch as it does on a small stage.
Solid sapele on the top, back, and sides gives it a woody, mid-forward voice with clear trebles and a tight, controlled low end — sapele shares a lot of mahogany's character, so chords stay punchy and clear without ever crowding the mix. Scalloped X-bracing lets the top respond easily, which suits fingerstyle playing and light strumming particularly well, while the Performing Artist neck profile keeps long sessions comfortable.
The satin finish and diamond-and-square fingerboard inlays keep the look clean and understated, and Martin's E1 electronics with a built-in tuner make it gig-ready straight out of the case. It ships strung with Authentic Acoustic Lifespan 2.0 phosphor bronze strings and comes with a softshell gig bag.
