Notice: This is a pre-owned item. While we do a basic cleaning and setup before shipping, we are unable to make any modifications to, or guarantees of condition, and or history, outside of what we have personally found, or been informed of by the original owner.

There is a structural crack on the back, located beneath the center back brace.

This 1930s Gibson tenor guitar is built from all-mahogany top, back, and sides in Gibson's small, round-shouldered body from that era, with cream single-ply binding along the top edge and soundhole. The vintage script "The Gibson" headstock logo and nickel-plated, banjo-style strip tuners are consistent with Gibson's catalog tenor guitars of the period — the plain, unadorned appointments here line up closely with a Gibson TG-1, though with no interior factory stamp visible, that specific designation can't be confirmed with certainty.

A rosewood fingerboard with simple pearl dot position markers and a rosewood pin bridge round out the appointments in classic, no-frills Gibson style. Nearly a century on, the mahogany has taken on a rich, well-worn patina that only comes with real age.
