There's a small gap at the edge of the bridge — normal for how Taylor bridges are glued and not a structural issue — along with a dent on the back, light scratches, and some delamination near the endpin and pickup area.
This 1999 Taylor K22 is built entirely from solid Hawaiian koa — top, back, and sides — in Taylor's Grand Concert body, without a cutaway. Koa's tone is known for sweetening and opening up over time, and at over two decades old, this K22 has had plenty of time to develop that warm, midrange-forward voice koa is prized for.
The slim C-shape neck, slightly thinner than the NT neck Taylor introduced in 2000, keeps the feel fast and comfortable. It's finished in satin and comes with the original Taylor hardshell case. This K22 originally shipped without electronics, but an undersaddle pickup has since been added by a previous owner, so it's stage-ready if you want to plug in.
