Description
The Taylor Gold Label 710e swaps the neo-tropical mahogany found on most of the Gold Label line for solid Indian rosewood back and sides, paired with a solid Sitka spruce top on a Deep Body Dreadnought — Taylor's take on the classic dreadnought shape with added depth for more low-end reserve.
Rosewood's overtone-rich shimmer replaces the drier, punchier mahogany voice found elsewhere in the series, giving the 710e a wider, more complex low end with extra sparkle on top. Fanned V-Class bracing with a Tonal Rout keeps that added complexity from turning muddy — chords bloom with real depth, and the deep body adds volume and sustain without the guitar feeling boomy under a hard strum. It's built for players who want dreadnought volume with rosewood's added color.
West African ebony covers the fingerboard, headstock veneer, and truss rod cover, and a Firestripe pickguard adds a vintage-leaning visual detail against the Natural gloss finish. An L.R. Baggs Element VTC pickup system handles amplification. Every 710e ships under our Dread-Not Guarantee — a 30-day in-home trial and a full year to trade it in for 90% credit toward anything else in the store, backed by a free humidity monitoring kit. For flatpickers and strummers who want a dreadnought with more tonal complexity than a standard mahogany model, the 710e delivers it.
