(Used) 1999 Taylor 814-BCE 25th Anniversary Sitka/Rosewood Grand Auditorium Guitar w/Electronics #4124
The 1999 Taylor 814-BCE 25th Anniversary is a remarkable example of Taylor’s craftsmanship at the turn of the millennium. Built on the Grand Auditorium platform with a Venetian cutaway, this guitar blends modern playability with premium appointments that celebrate Taylor’s 25 years of guitar making. The solid Sitka spruce top pairs with a rare three-piece Brazilian rosewood back and sides, giving the guitar a broad tonal spectrum that is both articulate and full of warmth. Attention to detail sets this model apart, with abalone inlays, a Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay engraved for the anniversary, and elegant white binding. An ebony fingerboard and bridge tie the design together while the Fishman Prefix Blender electronics make it stage-ready with a natural, balanced amplified tone. Gold Grover tuners complete the package. This instrument remains in excellent condition with only slight delamination around the tuning pegs, and it includes its original hardshell case.
