(Used) 2018 Gibson F-7 Mandolin #2011

Handcrafted in Gibson’s custom shop, this 2018 F-7 Mandolin is an extraordinary recreation of the legendary 1930s archtop model. In Excellent Condition, there are a few small scratches on the left hand top by the scroll, one longer shallow scratch on the back, and one tiny ding on the headstock. Pickguard has normal wear. Featuring a hand-carved solid spruce top paired with beautifully figured solid flame maple back and sides, it delivers the iconic chop, bark, and dynamic headroom bluegrass purists crave. Finding a modern recreation of this classic F-style layout on consignment is a rare treat for any serious mandolin player or collector.

Finished in a rich, dark Vintage Sunburst, this instrument effortlessly pairs classic pre-war Gibson aesthetics with modern custom-shop precision. Its acoustic voice is exceptionally punchy and dry, allowing it to cut through any acoustic jam or stage ensemble with ease. The natural resonance of the carved tonewoods gives every chop and single-note run a woody, mature voice that only premium carved maple can produce.

The solid maple neck features a traditional V profile topped with a bound ebony fingerboard and classic Gibson headstock inlay work. Complete with a traditional fitted ebony bridge, nickel hardware, and full bench-inspection, this instrument offers incredible playability up and down the neck. It comes ready for the main stage or studio, offering a unique piece of Gibson heritage in prime playing condition.
