This Bulas A-style mandolin brings together clean craftsmanship and a lively, articulate voice that players really enjoy. The master grade Carpathian spruce top has quick response and plenty of headroom, and the curly maple back and sides add a bright and clear edge that helps the notes stand out. The Cremona sunburst is rich and warm, and the high gloss nitrocellulose finish lets the mandolin feel and sound open right from the first chord.

The ebony fingerboard has a comfortable compound radius that plays smoothly across the neck. The nut is shaped cleanly at 29 millimeters, which gives just a bit more breathing room without feeling oversized. White mother of pearl dots complement the hummingbird inlay, adding a tasteful and traditional touch without distracting from the clean A-style lines. The light creme binding all around ties the look together and gives the mandolin a polished presence.

Schaller tuners keep it stable, and the Bulas nickel tailpiece adds strength and a classic feel to the hardware.
