The 2026 NAMM Model Martin DC-10E Modern Black is built for players who want the power of a dreadnought with a modern edge. The cutaway body gives full access to the upper frets without changing the familiar Martin feel, making it just as comfortable for lead work as it is for rhythm. Finished in a satin black that looks sharp on any stage, this guitar has a clean, confident presence that fits today’s player without losing its roots.

A solid spruce top provides clarity and dynamic range, while solid sapele back and sides bring warmth and focus to the midrange. Sapele offers a dry, controlled response that stays balanced when strummed hard and remains articulate when played with a lighter touch. Scalloped X bracing keeps the top responsive, allowing the guitar to speak easily whether it is driving a song or supporting a vocal with detail and control.
