Built with a AAA-grade spruce top and beautifully figured Queensland maple back and sides, this deep-bodied 808 (OO) shape delivers incredible balance and volume for its size. It has a quick, responsive top that handles light fingerstyle just as well as aggressive percussive playing, with a sweet midrange and a controlled low end that never muddies up. This model features scalloped Sitka X bracing, a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and a silky satin honey finish on top that lets the guitar breathe and resonate naturally. The 5-ply timber binding and walnut headstock veneer add a handcrafted elegance, and the slim 1.736" nut with a 12" radius keeps it fast and familiar under the fingers. Outfitted with Maton’s AP5 PRO pickup system—one of the best live systems available—it’s stage-ready and comes housed in a Maton deluxe Hiscox case.
